San Francisco Bay Area Fires

As much as we love the warm Indian summers here in San Francisco, we’re thinking about them within the context of the recent fires within the greater Bay Area. These fires were some of the worst in recent history, with many people being negatively impacted at both the individual and community-level, and sadly, some people losing their lives. We’d like to extend a big thank you to the firefighters, government, volunteers, and others who worked to contain the fires and help keep the community as safe and healthy as possible.

While the fires didn’t reach San Francisco, the smoke and ash affected the air quality of the greater Bay Area in general. The picture below is a polluted, smoke-hazed sunset taken near Alamo Square, the neighborhood that we named the Lady Alamo brand after.
